This blog is for you
July 17th, 2006
The term blog stands for web log. This particular blog was setup by PAX MCC to serve your needs for simple communication. Use it if you are trying to find somebody, remember something, or communicate an idea. Use it like a bulletin board. I think I may need to be the one to create original strings for people to comment to so e-mail me at webmaster@paxmcc.com if you would like to create a question or statement that you want other PAX folks to comment on.
This is all pretty new to me so we will wonder through this technological maze together.

To create a comment to a weblog simply click comment and put in your name and e-mail and then the comment.
If you want to create a new web log (blog) for others to comment on send an e-mail with the comment to alkeim@paxmcc.com or the webmaster@paxmcc.com.
Thanks.

It seems that the webmaster will have the task of moderating the comments and approve them before they are seen by the general public.

Kudos to Tom for his willingess to serve the PAX page. I hope PAXers taked advantage of this site. I have talked to a number of PAXers, but no one knew about it.
Lets talk it up, as Franklin Littell used to say.

Greetings! My predecessor in Pax at Mennoniten Haus in Kaiserslautern was Garth Hershberger. I am looking to send him a little project about Mennoniten Haus I have done, but cannot find his address. If anyone has his address, I would appreciate receiving it. I am also looking for the address of Irmgard Quapp (maiden name, since married), a secretary for Mennonite Voluntary Service, to send her a copy of the same.
Thanks. Howard

Greetings from east-central Ohio!
I was at Karlsschule (Wien) and Salzburg 1959-61. I would like to secure a copy of Merlin Garber’s history: KARLSSCHULE. It’s out of print and a photocopy would be great. Please let me know and I’ll pay for all charges. rlwyoder@coshocton.com or 740-545-6796.
Thanks,

PAX men, please tell others of the MWR news release regarding the Bienenberg Peace Walk which will appear in latter May issue.
Joe Landis, jlandis@voicenet.com is spearheading a PAX reunion in 09 at the Mennonite World Conference in Asuncion, Paraguay. Please share this idea with other PAXers.
Peace,
Cal Redekop

Richard Rush has just sent me his complete set of slides of his PAX experience in Europe.
I am passing them on to Burton Buller and Al Keim for inspection. They are meticulously captioned and very well crafted.
Richard is making them available for use. I suspect we will send them to the archives at Goshen.
If any others of you have such similar material, and want to share and preserve them, please let Al, Burton or me know.
Thanks,
Cal
